Welcoming the New Year with Hope: A Gratitude Gathering

Thursday, January 22
@ 3:00 pm ET

Pause. Breathe. Begin gently.

The start of a new year can feel complicated after a brain injury - full of mixed emotions, tender moments, and the quiet pressure of fresh beginnings. That’s why we’re gathering together for a warm, reflective space to welcome the new year with connection and hope.

Spots are free but space is limited.
We’d love to have you with us.

This gentle workshop is designed to help you shift the lens from what has been lost to what you still carry, what you appreciate about who you are now, and the small joys that lighten your days. Together, we’ll ease into the year with grounding reflection and a simple creative activity called The Hope Map.

Designed for everyone on the brain injury journey: individuals, family members, and loved ones. Whether you come alone or together with loved ones, you’ll be welcomed with kindness and community.

Guided by Hope Survives’ Cristabelle Braden & Jasmine Balignasay-Chavez, this workshop blends warmth, creativity, and connection.

What to expect:

  • A live session on Zoom

  • A cozy, low-stimulation space made for individuals and families navigating brain injury

  • Gentle reflection prompts

  • A simple craft: The Hope Map - (no artistic skill needed!)

  • Time for connection with others who understand the journey

  • Encouragement, community, and grounding hope to carry into the new year

We can’t wait to connect with you. 💙

This space is created for individuals living with brain injury, their family/loved ones, and anyone who wants a gentle, creative way to begin the new year.

You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you’d like - cameras on or off, listening quietly or sharing if it feels right. All modes of presence are honoured.
