Creating Your Own Maps for Task Completion

with Stacia Bissel & Katya Bowen

A virtual workshop

Friday, Sept. 18, 2026 at 1:30pm ET

After a brain injury, even familiar daily tasks can feel confusing, overwhelming, or out of reach. This interactive workshop helps anyone navigating brain injury, their caregivers/family members, and clinicians explore how to rebuild effective strategies for getting things done - one step at a time.

Through guided self-observation and practical planning tools, participants learn how to create personalized “maps” for task completion. These maps turn complex routines into manageable, repeatable processes that fit each person’s unique strengths and challenges.
