The Companion Program
You don’t have to walk this road alone.
The Hope Survives Companion Program is a 3-month opportunity to build meaningful, supportive connection. We’ll match you with someone from the Hope Survives community for weekly check-ins — someone who gets it.
This isn’t mentorship. It’s presence. Encouragement. Consistent support from someone who understands life after brain injury.
Our first cohort for Summer 2025 is now full - but if you’re interested in being a part of this for the future, click here to join the waitlist.
How It Works
You’ll complete an application to help us match you.
You’ll be paired with a companion based on preferences like communication style, injury experience, age range, and interests.
You’ll check in once per week (or more if you choose) via text, phone, chat, or video—whatever works best for both of you.
We provide light structure, conversation prompts, and ongoing support.
Who It’s For
This program is open to:
Survivors of brain injury
Family Members and caregivers
Volunteers who want to support others with empathy and encouragement
We believe everyone deserves connection — no matter where they are on their journey.
