Meet Daniel Cross, Board Member
Daniel Cross
Dan Cross has spent his career making it easier for people to find where they belong and for organizations to find the talent they need. A graduate of Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, he brings over 15 years of expertise in Talent Acquisition, HR, and People Operations.
Dan currently serves on the Employer Partnerships team at 12twenty, connecting organizations to a modern, data-powered platform built to make early career hiring work better for employers, universities, and students. Prior to 12twenty, Dan spent over a decade at Capital One, where he co-founded CapAbilities, a business resource group for people with disabilities, caregivers, and allies.
Early in his career, Dan worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, providing job coaching to individuals with disabilities and brain injury survivors. That experience drives his commitment to helping Hope Survives build the operational infrastructure needed to scale its impact and reach more survivors and families.
Dan lives in coastal North Carolina with his wife, Danielle, and their three sons, Jameson, Camden, and Benson. Outside of work, he coaches youth basketball and volunteers with Special Olympics.
