Craig Waldron
Professional Experience:
Craig Waldron brings decades of leadership in financial services, small business consulting, and executive advising. As the former owner and president of Padgett Business Services in Salt Lake City, Utah, Craig provided expert tax and accounting support to local businesses for nearly 20 years. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Technology and Finance at The Clements Group, where he helped community colleges nationwide raise millions in infrastructure and development funding.
Craig is a graduate of Weber State University with a B.S. in Accounting and held federal licensure as an Enrolled Agent through 2025. He is also a best-selling author and a Certified Handwriting Analyst, blending technical and intuitive analysis to help individuals and business leaders identify patterns, reduce stress, and unlock growth through strategic change. Today, though retired from formal consulting, Craig continues to empower others through speaking, mentorship, and service.
Relationship with Brain Injury:
Craig’s personal journey shifted dramatically following a second near-death experience in 2013 from an anoxic brain injury. The aftermath sparked a deep, purpose-driven pivot—one grounded in the belief that he had more to offer the world. Craig’s holistic view of healing and transformation resonates with the Hope Survives community. He brings empathy, lived wisdom, and a heart for those seeking to rebuild their lives after trauma.
Passion for the Mission of Hope Survives:
Craig’s passion lies in helping people live more empowered, purposeful lives—especially when navigating hardship. As a board member of Hope Survives, he offers critical financial acumen and a calming, problem-solving presence. He is particularly drawn to the organization's integrative approach to wellness and community-building, and he supports the mission of ensuring no survivor or family walks the journey alone.
“We are all here for a reason, and our lives are shaped by both our challenges and our choices. Hope Survives is a place where transformation is possible—not just for individuals, but for families and communities.”
