She is the facilitator of the Concussed Moms Support Group and teaches brain-injury-friendly painting classes. She also shares practical coping strategies for managing daily life and reducing cognitive load while having to keep going through day-to-day activities (for example - laundry, meals, grocery store runs, and more!) Allison also shares how art and creativity has made a big difference in her recovery. This conversation highlights the emotional challenges faced by concussed individuals and their families, while also offering hope and encouragement for those on a similar journey.
