Meet Our Guest

Drew and Terry Niemann are the hosts of "A Battle Within" podcast. Terry had a significant bicycle accident in September 2013. This is the first of three concussions that she experienced in the coming years. They write, "During the recovery processes we learned the hard way that there aren’t many good resources and support mechanisms for those injured or their loved ones. In addition, we learn that awareness about concussions and its aftermath is lacking considerably. Patients can feel a great sense of loneliness and caregivers tend to be left on an island, by themselves. After Terry began feeling somewhat better with her recovery and healing for the third time, we decided to try to help others affected by Post Concussion Syndrome. So A Battle Within is born. This website and sister podcast are intended to aid others waging their own war on PCS!"
