Evening Love
I find comfort in the details while celebrating the little things. I love taking photos so I took an opportunity to get some snapshots of a visiting owl one evening. I later sat down and worked through all the shots and manipulated one of the photographs by adding layers of colors to it.
Animals bring me joy, especially owls. My excitement bubbled over when my boyfriend noticed an owl in the backyard and brought it to my attention. I was too thrilled, grabbing our camera, and focusing on taking photos of it. I feel it reflects “Choosing Hope” because the original image was layered with multiple sheer colors creating a whole new perspective of the scene, building “Evening Love”. I chose to change the original setting to be more pleasant and inspiring. Our perspectives of our new life after brain injuries, seem dull, but can be changed when we choose to hope or, add layers of sheer colors.
